One way fans can see themselves in the characters is through their similar personality traits, which can be categorized into zodiac signs.
12 Calanthe is a strong Leo
Leos are a fiery and headstrong sign, with a lot of drama attached. There are a lot of strength and courage underneath everything, but they are not the humblest signs. If nothing else, Leos are definitely consistent.

Istredd does this to stay with him while he fulfills her dreams, going as far as ruining her reputation to settle down. Although he has done some horrible things, he shows kindness and compassion.
10 Triss is a good-natured virgo
Virgos are kind and selfless, often dedicated to helping others. However, they lack self-confidence and sometimes try to create a false reality around themselves. In the first season, Triss needs Geralt’s help with saving someone who has become a monster.
Geralt could kill the creature, but Triss wants to heal it. She doesn’t give up, instead she trusts someone else to help her. This may reflect Triss’s lack of confidence to do the job, or it may be a positive attitude about asking for help. Both cases point Triss towards Virgo locations.
9 Fringilla is a ruthless Capricorn
Capricorns have strong ambitions and are relentless in pursuit of their goals. There is no time for much else because they are highly motivated. Capricorns are born leaders who have the ability and confidence to inspire dedicated support.
Fringilla may be working for a higher purpose and sometimes others, but she remains in control of herself and many people surround her to support her. Fringilla truly is ruthless and goes as far as she can to destroy anything or anyone that gets in her way.
8 Mousesack is a perceptive Pisces
Pisces is represented by two fish swimming in separate directions, indicating their divided attention between fantasy and reality. However, Pisces are incredibly open and compassionate beings, and are always there to help by providing a new perspective.

Mousesack is very wise and provides insight into the lives of those around him, whether they ask him to or not. His appearance and memories were stolen by a doppelgänger, and he spent time as a murderous monster. This reflects how a Pisces is often in conflict between two realities.
7 Geralt is a rebellious Aquarius
Aquarians are a progressive and rebellious air sign that has a fresh way of thinking and doing things. They are always evolving and looking to change the status quo. Geralt best represents an Aquarius. While he tries to uphold the rules and laws of being a warlock, Geralt still frequently breaks them, as well as breaking the laws of the land.
Geralt’s job is to stay away from the others. He has to remain emotionless, accept money in advance and kill the monsters he encounters. However, it’s not always that simple, and Geralt goes against the rules to do what he thinks is right. He embodies the rebellious nature of an Aquarius.
6 Stregobor is a ruthless Aries
As a fire sign, Aries is bold and incredibly ambitious. They have no desire to depend on anyone but themselves and like to keep it that way. Their independence can make them feel lonely, but the continual search for what they want keeps their minds preoccupied.
Stregobor repeatedly shows that he makes decisions exclusively for himself. The even uses his power against Geralt. Stregobor’s selfish choices get the best of him as he tries to hide the decisions surrounding Renfri. Ultimately, however, he chooses himself and his own reputation. Like an Aries, Stregobor is ambitious and selfish.
5 Cirilla is a stubborn Taurus
Tauruses fight for what they want and don’t give up. They can be found looking for stability and comfort. However, Taurus spend much of their time focused on a single purpose and find themselves unable to see beyond it.
The traits of a Taurus apply a the Wizard ciri like she never gives up on her goals, nor on her deep desire to survive. There’s a constant survival mode to Ciri that makes her hard to predict, and her love of Calanthe and Mousesack’s stability is a huge loss. She is brave, determined and goal-oriented, like a Taurus.
4 Tissaia is an intelligent Gemini
Geminis are intelligent, expressive and very resourceful. They take pride in their knowledge and have a desire to learn. Geminis are usually very responsible people, which certainly applies to the Wizard Tissaia.
Tissaia is a staunch teacher who pushes the young witches around in some pretty cruel ways. She eventually shows that she has a heart beneath her tough exterior. Tissaia discovers the error in her methods and is proud of her former student, Yennefer. Her students wouldn’t be who they are without her harsh methods, and she uses her intelligence and expressive nature to propel them.
3 Cahir is a loyal scorpio
Scorpios are very loyal and ambitious, often possessing charisma and natural leadership skills. Cahir is an unpopular character due to his villainy and the way he treats others. Scorpios can be manipulative and ruthless. Just like a Scorpio would, Cahir manipulates Ciri and lures her into a trap.
Cahir is loyal to his cause and he certainly has ambitions, but it all comes down to improving himself. Cahir’s Scorpio traits are evident in his unwavering courage and determination. Also, he is held in high regard by the others as a ruthless leader.
two Jaskier is a people-pleasing Libra
Libras are always looking for romantic relationships and/or companionship. There is a certain insecurity below the surface that shows in the complacency of Librans. They often seek advice instead of trusting themselves. However, Libras are kind, loving and peace-seeking people.
Jaskier is a fan-favorite character for his goofy attitude, musical talent, and wit. It’s not hard to see why he is so highly regarded and even becomes one of Geralt’s few companions. Much of the humor in Jaskier’s life can be found in his unfortunate romantic pursuits. Dandelion certainly doesn’t trust his own judgment and seeks validation from others. These are all traits of a Libra.
1 Yennefer is an adventurous Sagittarius
Sagittarians are independent, adventurous and free-spirited people. They seek change and new experiences and are often the center of attention. Sagittarians are witty and funny, but sometimes their humor is too honest, which can be hurtful. They are very tough, strong and ready to fight.
Yennefer is a Sagittarius par excellence. Yennefer decides to transform no painkillers and then casually walks into the celebration. She is fiercely independent, often pushing people away and keeping them at a distance. This allows her to find no vulnerability beneath her strong exterior, and is very similar to how a Sagittarius behaves.
