It is difficult to compile a list of what makes entrepreneurs successfulmainly because their individuality often sets them apart for life as entrepreneurs.
However, there are notable common traits among those who disregard the life of an employee and go their own way. We’ll look at five of them in this article, but as you can imagine, this is just the tip of the iceberg.
I should start this list by saying that these traits are the qualities of a successful entrepreneur and I don’t want to talk about the very successful ones. This article is intended for those who are at all stages of their entrepreneurial journey. This item is designed for encourage you instead of making you feel inadequate.
If you’re someone whose business isn’t where you want it to be or you’re frustrated by a recent setback, don’t look at this as a list of things you’re missing. Cheer up, because number one on the list isβ¦
1. Will to fail
Being afraid of failure is a common affliction. It can be related to parenting, sibling rivalry, bullying, or a whole range of other traumas.
At its heart, it’s about having a light shine on our perceived insufficiencies. What we fear is being exposed to our peer group as fraud. Why? Because social ostracism, in our prehistoric mind, it is similar to death.
We are tribal by nature. We survived in the past by pooling resources and manpower. Being kicked out of the tribe was essentially a death sentence because survival in the wilderness on your own was almost impossible.
We are still connected that way.
Us fear to fail because, although it no longer brings literal death, we perceive the threat of “social death”. We are worried that we will be expelled for our lack of usefulness and value to the tribe.
But as entrepreneurs, we have to be willing to fail. We don’t know what’s around the next corner. As recent world events have shown, no one does. We must give our best and learn from what does not work. Failure is a gift. All entrepreneurs are not only comfortable with that notion, they accept it. Entrepreneurs understand that it is part of the journey.
Most ideas and businesses fail. If you’re not failing, you’re not doing it right!

2. Critical thinking
As the first trait, critical thinking it allows entrepreneurs to break free from the herd mentality. This should not be confused with blind contrarianism. Instead, it is the ability to evaluate information and judge it on its merits before acting on it.
Thanks again to our ingrained desire to stay with a tribe; We don’t like to go against the current. It is easier to doubt our judgment than to question the group. So, we take the path of least resistance.
This is why it’s so easy to end up in a 9 to 5 job, feel creatively dissatisfied, and feel like you’re not making an impact.
Every entrepreneur is an expert information evaluation. They have an instinct for it that they rely on with a clarity of vision (we’ll get to that shortly) that guides them to their goal. Following the pack usually won’t get you where you want to be. Thinking critically and independently will.
3. Clarity of vision
A lack of connection with the result it tends to trip up most people when they embark on a new venture. They haven’t created enough of an emotional bond to achieve what they say they want, so they lose connection with it.
This manifests itself in many different ways.
Generally, self-sabotaging behaviors such as delay little by little it sneaks into our minds. This is because our subconscious fights against the change that our conscious wants to enact. He fears change because he represents the unknown and wants to stay close to safety.
Every entrepreneur has created a clear vision of what they want to achieve. You can emotionally connect with him and determine how he will feel when you achieve his goals.

4. Leverage on themselves
Friedrich Nietzsche said: “Whoever has a sufficiently strong why can bear almost any how.” What differentiates an entrepreneur is his absolute faith and emotional connection to your desired result. They know that they will always move towards that goal despite setbacks.
How? because they have enough take advantage of about themselves, the idea of ββnot always progressing towards their desires is more painful than giving up. Armed with this desire, they are unstoppable. Nothing will dissuade them.
5. Strong communication
Every entrepreneur knows that he needs others to succeed, so he seeks to surround himself with people in positions that he would like to emulate.
Without good communication skills, it is impossible to paint a precise target for others. If you want others to understand your passion, drive, and leverage, you need to communicate it.
It’s very easy for things to fall apart quickly as you introduce more people to a company or cause. That is why good communication is a quality that every entrepreneur must possess.
