MILWAUKEE – american family camp will host the Aurora Health Care Brew City Battle on November 11, 2022. It is a college basketball doubleheader that will feature the Wisconsin men’s and women’s basketball programs taking on Stanford and K-State, respectively.
Basketball and the Brewers: who knew it could be the perfect combo. UW Badgers basketball will take the court at American Family Field in November for the first-ever Brew City Battle.
“My two loves are coming together here in November,” Brewers broadcaster Brian Anderson said. “I am very excited.”
Brewers and Badgers fans can agree with Anderson’s thoughts as the battle of Aurora Health Care Brew City comes to life.

“The Wisconsin women’s team will take on Kansas State and the Wisconsin men’s team will take on Stanford,” Anderson said.
It’s happening at American Family Field, with center court located right around the pitcher’s mound for the first ever basketball event at the stadium, and they’re hoping to pack the house.
“Coming into the season and having a game like this in a place like this against a great opponent, you can’t buy that kind of exposure,” said Marisa Moseley, Wisconsin women’s basketball head coach.
Brew City Battle: Milwaukee Hosts College Basketball Doubleheader
Officials talk about the Brew City Battle, a college basketball doubleheader, taking place at American Family Field on Nov. 11.
“That our players can be in this environment and that Marisa’s players are in that environment, hopefully it will inspire them going forward,” said Greg Gard, head coach, Wisconsin men’s basketball.
The doubleheader will take place on November 11 and no, they’re not worried about the Wisconsin weather.
“We have a really great, well-maintained heating system,” said Rich Schlesinger, the Brewers’ president of business operations. “We won’t have a problem keeping the temperature between 68 and 70. Whether it’s snowing, sleeting, hailing or whatever we’re doing in Milwaukee in November, it’s going to be balmy and basketball-perfect inside.”
Follow up will be happening too! It’s all to utilize the versatility of American Family Field.

“It’s a great reminder of how good an investment this stadium is and a reminder of how important this venue is to our market, and we keep it in good shape,” Schlesinger said.
Stanford has an all-time 6-4 lead in the series against Wisconsin, having lost the last matchup in 2018 in the Bahamas, 62-46. On the women’s side, the Badgers won the only previous meeting against K-State, earning a 56-53 win at a neutral site in Las Vegas in 2006.
