Nets shooting guard Kyrie Irving has made a fortune valued at $90 million from his wizardly skills on the court, with investments in sports, electronics and consulting.
While he may be the favorite child of controversy, Kyrie Irving has made quite a living throughout his NBA career. The No. 1 pick in the 2011 draft, Uncle Drew, is a box-office hit, courtesy of his exceptional ball-handling skills and his ability to finish at the rim.
The former ROTY hit the go-ahead shot in one of the best NBA Finals in 2016, helping the Cavaliers rally from a 3-1 deficit. After his stint in Cleveland, Irving has been in the news more for his antics off the court, his latest stance against vaccination being his most recent.
During his free agency in the 2019-20 season, Irving signed a 4-year, $136 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets. In his 3 seasons with the Nets so far, the seven-time All-Star has played just 103 of 226 games, even losing $11 million on his contract because of it.
Nonetheless, the former champion continues to make a bank on his endorsements and investments, leading to an estimated net worth of $90 million.

The Nets shooting guard currently has $36 million on his contract as he enters the final season of his deal. One of the most polarizing figures, Irving’s ability to draw footfalls in arenas is remarkable, making him one of the most marketable players for top brands.
Pointing out the same, Irving has made some lump sum investments in his career, including many multi-billion dollar industries. It’s been a while since the former Cavs superstar advocated veganism, and even invested in the company Beyond Meat, estimated at $2.1 billion.
Kai also has a stake in wearable electronics giant Skull Candy, along with his returns for the iconic Uncle Drew character he created with cola company Pepsi.
