Former ‘FBoy Island’ Contestant Mikey D Says She Tried to Warn Show of His Threatening Behavior

METERichael Dakessian—best known for fboy island fans as “Mikey D”—made a strong impression during his three episodes on the show before being eliminated and revealed as an “FBoy.” His ex-girlfriend, however, is shocked that he made it onto the show even after she allegedly alerted several casting reps about the complaint she filed against him with the Manhattan assistant district attorney last year. .

Kimberly Noel, who requested that The Daily Beast withhold her full name, says that at first, Dakessian was “very charming, very sweet.” Noel, a publicist with a large Instagram following, first spotted Dakessian on TikTok. She reached out around fall 2020, she says, to recruit him as a potential client.

Dakessian wanted to date first, Noel alleges, but four or five weeks after they started dating, he suggested they join forces. Things started off well, but Noel remembers that Dakessian’s “true colors” finally came out. He allegedly demanded that they keep their relationship a secret, but he also insisted that Noel take him to events for his high-profile clients. Apparently his main obsession was the cast of The Jersey Shore, but her main goal, Noel maintains, was to land a role on a reality show.

“He kept pushing,” Noel tells The Daily Beast. “Say, ‘You have to put me on a reality show.’ Like, picky.

Eventually, Noel says that his behavior became extreme enough to cause her to worry about his physical safety. The ADA filed charges for second-degree aggravated stalking last fall, and Noel received a temporary order of protection. (The Daily Beast reviewed a copy of the protective order, as well as Noel’s statement to the Manhattan Assistant District Attorney’s Office.)

Shortly after Noel filed his complaint, he proactively contacted three professionals who had allegedly interviewed Dakessian to fboy island to alert them to your claims. The dating show finds three single women on an island with about two dozen men, half of them “Nice Guys” and the rest self-identified as “FBoys.” As the boys are eliminated, they retreat to “Nice Guy Grotto” or “Limbro”, where they continue to appear throughout the season. Dakessian retired to Limbro after she debuted the first batch of episodes in July, but she has reappeared periodically throughout the season for brief banter. (Dakessian did not respond to requests for comment; HBO did not provide comment before publication.)

Noel contacted three casting representatives who she says he added on Instagram after he was interviewed for the show.

In screenshots Noel shared with The Daily Beast from last October, he warns that Dakessian is a drag and is “obsessed with fame and celebrities,” and that “every time I took him to one of my celebrity clients, he made them feel very uncomfortable and upset. I have been told that he does not bring it around them.

The screen-captured messages indicate that each of the recipients sent a short thank you; one said he would pass the information on to his team. Weeks later, Noel appears to have sent each of them a copy of his statement to the ADA regarding the harassment allegations. One of the casting professionals said that they had moved from fboy island but it would pass the information along. Noel says that he never received an answer.

Noel recalls securing multiple reality television auditions for Dakessian and eventually landing him a job at a company owned by The Jersey Shore‘s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, as a brand ambassador for the MTV star’s “Brotrition” supplements, but that “it just was never enough.”

Dakessian reportedly grew frustrated when Sorrentino never approached him. “Then it went on to the next person,” says Noel. (Sorrentino’s representatives did not respond to The Daily Beast’s request for comment.)

After four or five months, Dakessian’s demands for exposure reportedly turned aggressive. “She would put her hands on me and say, ‘If you don’t do this, I’m going to pull you out of the closet and say you’re sexually harassing me,’” recalls Noel. She and Dakessian reportedly broke up in September 2021.

Weeks after the breakup, Dakessian reportedly showed up for one of Noel’s celebrity client bookings and told security that he was her boyfriend. “She waited outside until I left and tried to get her hands on me again,” she shares. (The Daily Beast has seen an incident report from last fall, after Noel said he called police from the scene of the alleged altercation; it mentions Dakessian by name.) Noel was dissuaded from including the physical allegations in the statement she would later make. to the ADA, she said, because police had refused to investigate the incident since Dakessian had left the scene.

He would put his hands on me and say, ‘If you don’t do this, I’m going to pull you out of the closet and say you’re sexually harassing me.’

After the in-person confrontation, Noel says Dakessian began verbally threatening her on TikTok. At the time, the ADA filed charges for second-degree aggravated harassment.

In the statement reviewed by the Daily Beast, Noel cites a live broadcast in which Dakessian allegedly said he planned to “knock out his former manager.” His statement does not mention the physical altercation weeks earlier, he said, because police refused to investigate the incident.

Noel shared the temporary protection order he received with The Daily Beast. The document is valid until January 2023 and was filed as a condition for dismissal of the case, meaning that as long as Dakessian obeys the order, Dakessian will have received what she considers a “slap on the wrist.”

And now, “Mikey D” has made his first appearance on reality television, even despite his accusations.

Beyond sharing her “side of the story,” Noel said she hopes her experience will help protect other women.

“I just don’t want another girl to have to go through what I went through,” she says. “They’re putting it on a whole platform… I’m really scared for other girls she’s interacting with now.”
