The third tournament of the LIV Golf Invitational Series will be held at Trump National in Bedminster, New Jersey.
England’s Paul Casey will make his debut after being welcomed into Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC team during the last event at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in Portland, Oregon.
That event was won by Branden Grace from South Africa and she walked away with a $4 million mega check for the win.
LIV Golf has new signings for this week’s tournament, with Henrik Stenson also scheduled to make his debut.
The 46-year-old Swede was stripped of the Ryder Cup Europe captaincy after his decision to play in the LIV series.
It was a decision in which he said that he was very disappointed and in disagreement. He claimed that he could still have fulfilled the duties as captain even while he was playing LIV.
Casey and Stenson will join former Ryder Cup stalwarts Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, Martin Kaymer, Sergio Garcia and Graeme McDowell for the fast-start 54-hole tournament.
Garcia admitted this week that he was holding back on his decision to quit the DP World Tour to try and salvage his Ryder Cup career.
The final slots for the field at this event went to PGA Tour officials Charles Howell III and Jason Kokrak.
Howell III has made more than 600 starts on the PGA Tour and earned more than $40 million in prize money that has only given him three wins in 2002, 2007 and 2018.
Meanwhile, Kokrak had a long-standing assumed interest as an ambassador for Golf Saudi and due to the fact that he was brutally honest in trying to win as much cash as possible before retiring.
